Secrets of Earth

We're back! And its about time.....!

Lets get right to it, with news about our next latest & greatest episode to date, Secrets of Earth.
I am so proud of this story, for our first proper episode in over a year, this will set a new bench mark for Doctor Who: Second Life.

Secrets of Earth is more of a mini movie then episode, in terms of lengh. We have so much going on in this tory, you'll have to actually watch it..not run it in the background.

So, where has the Doctor been since we last saw him in "A Leap of Faith"? We last saw him entering a stargate and heading for Gallifrey...apparently. So, what has happened to him since that encounter? Well we never actually saw him land on Gallifrey, but in Secrets of Earth, we will.
A leap of Faith was going to be a 2 parter, and the second part was going to be "Not the Last" but we it was so crap, we scrapped it as a story. Secrets of Earth will run a flashback sequence throughout the story, telling the Not the Last storyline, and how it ties in with Secrets of Earth. Another great thing about this story.....is the Silence is back.

We're not copying Moffat in anyway, we are just using the creatres from Season 6 of Doctor Who briefly to explain a few things. Why did the Silence want humanity to go to the Moon? For a suit? Please. What is on the Moon the Silence need or want? Well....its a Secret. A secret that the Doctor uncovers and will have so many twists and turns that when it comes to getting answers for this....you won't see it coming.

the Doctor visits so many wonderful beautiful locations in this episode, its a real pleasure to show certain areas of Second Life for their beauty.
Kerian has also taken the Doctor to a new..dimension..in terms of personality. He is now a dark, mysterious....killer. He sees a Dalek dying, and burns him alive with a smile. One of just many great scenes from episode 1.

We are reunited with Gregory from the Angel. Allan rafferty returns this time as a full time companion, and why the Doctor returns for him will be told via the flashback we have on Gallifrey's distant past.

Now time for the moment.....the ultimate piece of news for this episode.
The Cybermen are back, BUT...with our own design. YES thats right. No other show, canon or fanon has ever shown this design before, which makes it unique and special to us. These Cybermen also have new features..they can fly...abit like Iron Man. New Cyberships and New Daleks also.

So, what can you expect from Secrets of Earth, our easter special?

One word. Satisfaction.

Episode 1 Is Nearly Here

Episode 1 of Doctor Who: Second Life is just a few months away from broadcast, and oh what treats do we have in store for the fans of our show!

The story continues the adventures of the 13th Doctor played by Kerain Twine inside Second Life, but now his life is at stake.
Episode 1 picks up from a point in his life where he is searching for answers to his missing regeneration from number 12 to 13 and continues a theme first established in DWSL: A Tear in Time.

The Doctor will meet the Daleks in more then one canon show form in 2 differnt scenes as well as the new designed Cybermen! This is what makes us stand out, we can design anything we want and our Cybermen are very different to those we've seen before. yes they shout "delete!!!" yes they stomp around, but our ones....CAN FLY. Yes fly. How cool is that??
We'll return to Port Bababge first seen in the Angel and be reunited with Gregory Hutchinson who was denied a place onboard the TARDIS. We're also off to the cafe 80's in HILL VALLEY and a few more all in 1 episode. This one really sets the bar and opens up alot of questions we've asked before, as well as a few cheeky suttle answers to others. Approx running time = 30 - 45 mins.

The wormholes seen in the Angel and a Tear in Time twice are also back and we still have NO clue what they are or who controls them. All will be revealed soon. We'll keep you updated right here.

Episode One: The Candidate is due to air January 2012.

The End & a painful regeneration

Well ladies and gentlemen, this is it. TwineLight Media's Doctor Who: Second Life will end in 2013 with the death of title character in his 13th incarnation. orignally TLM were not going to regenerate the Doctor and have him finally be laid to rest in the emotional finale, but since then Marc Warner, MDWTV asked if he could continue to show on his channel, and actually be a New Doctor. We then worked out a way to allow the Doctor to regenerate, even though he beleives his time is up. The regenerational element of the show can be reused in the future by other Doctors should Marc want to regenerate. But the Doctor, Twine, will "die".

The epic and final ever TLM episode, The End, is due to air in 2013 near the Doctor Who 50th anniversary special. The End will see the Doctor fighting for his life against a new enemy we've never seen before in canon of fanon stories. Many old companions from the canon show, and the TLM stories will reappear and some will die. Another exciting element is that many other show characters that I love will also fight along side the Doctor such as the autobots, Star Trek Enterprise, Thor and Captain Jack HARKNESS!!!!!

The Doctor's regeneration will happen about 3/4 of the way through the story and not right at the end. The episode will close with a new TARDIS and a new Doctor picking himself up and carrying on. Twine's Doctor is not like other Doctors, he is a very angry and isolated man who travels alone.

The End is due out 2013, Nov.

The End in Nigh

Well we're very very close to having everything written and ready to shoot for the remainder of the series, and finally my much antisipated finale "The End". I have to say, getting it out of my head and onto paper, and soon onto the screen of hopefully millions will be a job well done and a sigh of relief. So, what and where are we going with it all? What will be the overall message we give to fans? Read on...

First of all, we return during August 2011 for the second part of A Forbidden Reality by Ryan Gargett. In the original script the character of Jillian was in fact going to become my companion and travel with the Doctor until the finale, but with a few ajustments Jillian will not be joining the TARDIS and the Doctor is once again left alone. This episode will also be the last of the season one.

During recent talks with Marc Warner, owner of MDWTV, we're working on a christmas story together right now ready for release Xmas 2011. TLM were not going to produce a Xmas story this year but now with proper planning we're going to. The story isn;t ready yet, but it will involve a young 1st Doctor running into me. At first I was thinking "not another Doctor Doctor crossover story" but we'll do it in a non lame way. There will be no merging TARDIS in this story. But it gives my Doctor a chance to visit his past so we can see and use certain sets created in world that we've not yet had a chance to show.

And then, in 2012 (unknown date as of yet), we return for our full season two of DW:SL. Our first story called The Fixer which is shooting right now, see's the Doctor return to Babbage after the Angel to aquire Gregory Hutchinson as a companion. This story, for the Doctor is infact a long while in his timeline. After christmas the DOctor goes on a journey we won't see on screen and he returns for Greg for a reason. The Fixer see's Gregory kidnapped 4 days prior to the return of the Doctor by a Time Traveller called the Fixer. We'll get to revisit an old control room from the canon series and see a bit more of the TARDIS also. Anotehr exciting addition is that the Master's control room will also feature towards the end of the story, but the Master isnt present. Gregory and the Doctor disappear on an adventure together, but the Doctor has another motive.

Episode Two will see Gregory and the Doctor trapped on a starliner when something mysterious begins to happen. This episode will reflect the DW story "Midnight" but it'll be a bit more scray.

Episode Three see's the Doctor and Gregory land in Hill Valley at some point in the future. This story will be a universal crossover to the BTTF franchise as something is hidden in the town. We'll also get to meet an old enemy of the Doctor we've not seen for quite some time in both fan and canon shows. We'll also get a message that'll lead into the next story where Gregory is left alone in the TARDIS and the Doctor disappears in a way no one will see it coming.

Episode Four will be the mid season finale which will see the return of the Fixer, Cybermen, and of course the Master! The Doctor is trapped inside an impossible location, chained, beaten and with another person whom has met before but doesn't remember, and the other is the Officer from the Angel and the Fixer stories who we last saw enter the Master's TARDIS at the end of the Fixer story. The ending will see the Doctor fall furhter then has ever before and then some. It'll be left on a cliff hanger until we return either same time 2013 or end of 2012.

To avoid spoliers about the second half of the season, we'll keep quiet about whats to come, but what we will talk about is the End.

THE END, BY KERIAN TWINE
The End will be our last ever episode/story of DW:SL. It'll see the 13th Doctor in his final battle with evil as e tries his best to save creation from the threat of a Dark Lord. The original idea was to introduce OMEGA back into the stories but this has somewhat changed because I wanted to battle someone new and different then OMEGA. The End will feature something never done in animated machinima from SL before, and that is a war. Forces of Darkness will circle the Earth as the Doctor tries his best to defeat the greatest Dark Lord of all time. We'll also have STAR TREK ships, STAR WARS Jedi and Sith and HARRY POTTER death eaters involved along with many Doctor Who monsters and some new ones.
The final scene of the show has already been filmed to avoid spoilers and is ready to be used. But one thing I can promise is that in this story there will be no "reverse of time" or anything of the sort. No reset buttons no nothing. Whatever happens will stay in the mythology of our show.

The growing popularity of our show should see the finale get the maximum amount of views it deserves.

The End will air a few months after the last 4 stories, we'd like to air Jan 2013 or Summer 2013.

The Series - Update

I've not posted in a while, because well...I've had nothing to say, that is *drum roll please* until now. Progress of the Purge.

The Purge episode is nearing completion, and I've nearly edited it fully. The story see's the Doctor wake up on the mysterious Island from the TV drama, LOST where his TARDIS is buring and rebuilding.

I decided after our previous episode "A leap of Faith" to revamp our Doctor Who show, to something more dark, emotional and scary. Even though our Snook is a wonderful set for our hero, I felt a new TARDIS was needed to demonstrate this is a continuation of our established story, while starting new and fresh. So, the TARDIS is first seen on the Island, buring.

Now many questions arise in the first 4 mins of this episode such as; why is it buring and rebuilding? Why was he brought there? And where is the show going? These questions are going to be left open after this episode because we can't wrap it all up in 1 hour. Our story spans quite far, and the Purge is just step 1.
Originally, we were going to have the woman inside the Hatch travel with the Doctor because "thats what she is supposed to do", but after finding it hard to find a female who wanted to continue in the show after 1 episode, we decied to change to a man. They were going to join the TARDIS crew, but we found it better if the Doctor was actually rejected and left alone once more. Therefore he is searching for someone who wants him again. This is the Doctor's final life, so the heartache of being alone is slowly killing him.

The new console room won't be revealed until the episode airs in December, but its a winner. Its different to our previous, while keeping the classic feel and new series look. It suits the Doctor rather well, and we're proud to bring back the St John's Ambulance logo back to the box shell.

Our ememy of this episode; The Cybermen. We've got an exclusive new Cybermen outfit never before seen in any show in the history of Doctor Who, so look forward to that. :-)
We're also introducing something new and fresh into these new runs of story; a second timeline. For those who are fans of LOST will know what it is, but those who don't are in for a treat. All I'm going to say is, at the end of the Purge, you'll be confused and wanting to know why or how the Doctor exists here and why he is regenerating.

The Purge is episode one; running at approx 1 hour due to come out December 18th. Our 2nd & third episode's are Davros & the Daleks, where the Doctor retuns to Babbage 4 years after the Angel to find Greg missing and Davros working on "something wonderful". Episode 4 will see us on Mars; before shooting back to Earth and beginning our long finale with a new race of mosnters known as the End.

The Purge; nominated for an SL award, will air December 2011.

Guy

its been a while since I last posted on this blog, so i thought it was time for a new update.

I've recently released a video called Update. Which explains what TwineLight Media have coming over the next 3 years. I listed a bunch of Doctor Who episodes that were going to be made; this has somewhat changed. Big time.

Due to reasons i'm not going into, A Forbidden Reality is no longer going to be released. The episode was going to introduce companion Jillian the cyborgm but this idea has been scrapped. The Doctor will have companions, maybe eventually a perminant one, but for now he will be alone.

The stories that were written after this episode all feature Jillian. The stories have been deleted. The structure of DW:SL has changed and we have a new plan.
Christmas 2010 will feature something new to SL and TLM. Another Time Lord called "Guy". The idea for guy comes from marc warner of MDWTV inside Sl. He had an idea on creating his own Doctor Who show inside SL, but couldn't get the members to help him which is a shame. Plus, TLM are the only ones who produce Doctor Who in SL and want to keep it that way. So Guy was born.

the origin of Guy is being kept quiet. marc has been trying for some time tto introduce Guy to our screens but has somewhat not managed to. i decided i would help.

A short story featuring the Doctor and Guy meeting, as well as the Daleks will air Christmas Day 2010. Guy will point something out about the Doctor that will actually shake up DW:SL. What you think you know...will go.

We were going to return in the new year with "Every man for Himself" a story about Aliens loose on a starship heading for Home World; earth. In the new year the Doctor will head to Egypt, Meet Charlie Chaplin, New Cybermen, Port Babbage once more, find a hidden planet, fight the Daleks again, meet the master, fight Omega and find out the truth about himself.

Stay tuned. Christmas 2010 just become real.

Review #2: The Sunday Service - Part 2

Well it's back. The Sunday Service Part 2 was a really good end to, dare I say it, strange episode.
The Demon doesn't idenity himself but calls himself The Darkness who is all powerful. Both Time Lords' don't understand why or how they've come together.
This part picks up from where Part 1 left off. With them comfronted with the demon. As I said in my last review, both actors did really well in this and was a really enjoyable episode.
Edward Gizzi, who plays the lead title Doctor has a very distintave voice and one that delivers his role as the Doctor with real realism. Edward has done countless work for TLM and will do in the future, as his voice is one of the most exciting we've got on the production line. He delivers his lines with such with such emotion and effect, that if this wasn't a fan film it would be on TV.
The episode ends with them putting their heads together, as well as their sonics, and blasting "The Darkness" back into the vortex. In doing this, Ryan's Doctor ends up outside the church, smiles to himself and wanders off. So I found the ending....a little...strange. That's not a bad thing, was just odd, but nice to see some mystery.
What happened to Amiee being locked outside?
What happened to Edwards' Doctor after the explosion?
Why did the 2 Doctors come together and was the supernova important to the storyline?
I hope these questions are addressed and answered at some point in the future.

Part 2 gets another 7 Twines out of 10
